Wi-Fi Help

Wi-Fi Overview

The Lynden School District maintains a secure filtered Wi-Fi network to facilitate staff and students in educational endeavors.  This is not a general public network and authorization is required to use it.

Which Wi-Fi network should I use?

LPS_District -  This network is the most appropriate network for employee and students using Lynden School District owned devices. Employees and Students using Lynden School District devices will automatically connect to the "LPS_District" network. Log in to it using your standard "Windows" login id and password. Permissions are set depending on the user's responsibilities.

LPS_BYOD - BYOD=Bring Your Own Device.  Employees and Students using their own personal devices will use this network.
Log in to it using your standard "Windows" login id and password. Permissions are set depending on the students grade level and responsibilities.

LPS-Guest - This network is intended for guests to the district. Guests can request a short-term login at any office.

Note: District owned Windows devices are automatically provisioned onto a secured wireless network that allows access to the Windows server and printing infrastructure.
