Strengthening Families Program Coming to Lynden
Being a youth or a parent today can be challenging and sometimes overwhelming. Strengthening Families is a nationally recognized, evidence-based program that includes trainings for parents and youth teaming side-by-side and growing together. Parents will build on their strengths in showing love and setting limits and youth will develop skills in handling peer pressure and building a positive future.
Lynden School District and WSU Whatcom County Extension present the Strengthening Families Program for parents and their youth (ages 10-14) in Spanish and English on Thursday evenings, April 17th – May 29th from 6:00– 8:30 p.m. at Lynden Middle School. Come and learn more about the program on our Orientation Night for youth and families on Thursday, April 10th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Childcare will be available.
