Technology Training


As part of the Lynden School Districts ongoing effort to provide learning resources for staff and students, the following resources are available:


Microsofts Imagine Academy

Microsoft provides a large number of videos covering all of their products. These self-paced videos range from quick overviews to multi-hour classes with labs and final exams. All of the videos are available to staff members. It can be a little tricky to connect the first time, so we have some documentation:

Windows 10

The Lynden School District is actively moving all Windows-based computers for both students and staff to Microsoft's latest operating system (Windows 10.) Formal training is not available at this time, but there are several online resources: Windows 10 - Familiar and better than ever (6 minute YouTube video)
Windows 10 basics (38 minute YouTube video)
Get the Most from Windows 10 (multi-hour online course provided by the Microsoft Imagine Academy) - log in to Imagine Academy and search for "Windows 10"

Microsoft Office 365

The Lynden School District is an "Office 365" district and as provides Office365 to all staff. See the Office 365 page for more info on how to access it.  To take best advantage of Office365, the following resources are provided:

How to use Office365 (12 minute YouTube video)
Office Basics (multiple small Microsoft videos for both regular Office and Office365)
Office 365 Fundamentals( 5 hour online course provided by the Microsoft Imagine Academy) - log in to Imagine Academy and search for "Office 365"
