For students that are writers or want to be writers.

Each winter, for the last eight years, young authors, illustrators and poets have met after school as the Authors' Circle.

To allow plenty of time to share their work the group is limited to 14 students. The purpose of A.C. is to provide time and instruction for students to improve their creative skills. The group meets for 10 weekly sessions. The group gathers in the library for an hour of writing activities. Then the students move to the computer lab to allow for intensive writing time.

Those authors who meet the criteria of having a completed manuscript are invited to attend the Young Authors' Conference at Skagit Valley College in March.
