Not Too Early To Think About A College Scholarship
Have you put off the thought of college because you didn't think your family could afford it? Washington College Bound Scholarship offers the promise of tuition and books to qualifying 7th and 8th grade students in WA. This is a four year scholarship, in combination with other state aid, can help cover the cost of college tuition, fees, and books for low-income students who are qualify for free or reduced lunch and who sign the pledge.

How do I know if I am eligible? Students in 7th and 8th grade students must maintain a 2.0 GPA through high school, and demonstrate good citizenship and have their families income re-verified, are eligible for this scholarship.

If you would like more information regarding this amazing program, please contact either Mrs. Shaffer, ext 115 or Mrs. LeBlanc, ext 134 for more information or an application.

Homework Help
Homework Help is available to all middle school students on a Tuesday/Thursday schedule (except early release days). The program runs from 2:10-4:00 for students needing transportation. If they have signed-up in the office before noon, they can ride the Activity Bus home.
Students not needing the bus may leave at 3:15.

Mrs. Cooper and Mrs. Mielke, along with Sarah Roper (high school tutor) assist with homework completion in the upper Auditorium, Room 29. Homework Help provides free tutoring and a quiet place for students to work. Need more information?
